Anish Das
Founder · VCP Scanner

VCP Scanner was founded by Anish Das — an IIM Kozhikode alumnus, former Brand Manager at Flipkart, and active US equity investor since 2021.

The platform was built to address a structural gap in retail investing: institutional-grade financial data sits behind expensive paywalls, valuation models rarely disclose their methodology, and no single free tool combines systematic screening, fundamental verification, and intrinsic value estimation in one place. VCP Scanner was built to close that gap — with deterministic, rules-based models, fully documented and versioned methodology, and daily-updated data sourced directly from SEC filings and institutional market feeds.

Data Sources & Methodology

All financial data is sourced from SEC regulatory filings (XBRL), publicly available exchange feeds, and institutional-grade data providers. Our quantitative models process this raw data daily to produce valuation estimates, screening signals, and technical analysis.

We believe in full transparency. Every model we run is documented in detail — so you can understand exactly how our numbers are computed and judge their reliability for yourself.

Editorial Team

Market analysis and earnings summaries are produced by the VCP Scanner Editorial Team using proprietary screening tools, and reviewed by Founder Anish Das before publication.

Editorial Standards

We hold ourselves to a strict set of editorial principles to earn and maintain reader trust.

  • Data-driven analysis. All insights and signals are generated by quantitative models using verified, publicly available data. No opinions, no gut calls.
  • Transparent methodology. Every model is documented in full — our three methodology docs total over 40,000 words collectively. No black boxes.
  • No paid coverage. We do not accept payment from any company in exchange for coverage, ratings, or favorable analysis.
  • Corrections policy. When errors are identified, we correct them promptly and transparently.
  • Not financial advice. All content is clearly labeled as quantitative model output — never as a buy, sell, or hold recommendation.
