By accessing or using vcpscanner.com and all subdomains operated under it (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

The Platform is operated by VCP Scanner, founded by Anish Das (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

VCP Scanner is a free US stock screener and financial analysis platform. It provides stock screening tools, quantitative valuation models, technical analysis, price and financial history, market news, and thematic research for US-listed equities — all for informational and educational purposes only.

VCP Scanner is not a registered investment advisor (RIA), broker-dealer, financial planner, or fiduciary. The Platform does not execute trades, manage investment portfolios, hold securities, or provide personalized investment advice of any kind.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice, without liability to you. Because the Platform is free, there is no contractual obligation to maintain any specific feature or level of service.

Nothing on VCP Scanner constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, a solicitation, or an offer to buy, sell, or hold any security.

All fair value estimates, quantitative screening signals, screening results, F-Score outputs, price targets, DCF estimates, relative valuation outputs, earnings estimates, and any other computed scores or signals are the output of automated quantitative models running on publicly available data. These outputs are:

• Inherently uncertain and based on assumptions that may prove incorrect
• Subject to data errors, data delays, and model limitations
• Not tailored to your individual financial situation, risk tolerance, or investment objectives
• Not a substitute for independent analysis or consultation with a licensed professional

Past performance of any stock, strategy, or screening signal displayed on the Platform does not guarantee future results. All investments involve risk, including the potential loss of principal.

You are solely and entirely responsible for your own investment decisions. VCP Scanner, its operator, and contributors bear no liability whatsoever for any financial loss or damage arising from your use of Platform data, signals, or analysis.

Financial data displayed on the Platform is sourced from SEC regulatory filings (10-K and 10-Q via EDGAR XBRL), publicly available exchange feeds, analyst consensus data, and licensed institutional market data providers. While we process this data carefully, we make no warranty of any kind regarding its completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Data may be delayed, contain processing errors, or reflect restated figures published by the original source after our last update. Forward-looking estimates involve significant uncertainty and actual results may differ materially from any projection displayed on the Platform.

Always verify data against official source documents (SEC filings, company investor relations pages, exchange data) before making financial decisions.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Scrape or harvest data — use automated tools, bots, scripts, crawlers, or any method to extract, copy, or aggregate data from the Platform in bulk without our prior written consent
• Commercial redistribution — resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Platform data, signals, or model outputs without our prior written consent
• Systematic API abuse — make excessive automated API calls or attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our underlying data pipelines
• Interference — attempt to disrupt, disable, overload, or impair the Platform or its infrastructure (including DDoS attacks, vulnerability scanning, or unauthorized access attempts)
• Misrepresentation — represent Platform outputs as licensed financial data products, registered investment advice, or the work of a licensed financial institution
• Unlawful use — use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable US federal or state law, including securities law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account that violates these conditions, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.

Creating an account requires signing in via Google OAuth. By doing so, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the Google account you use belongs to you.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account session and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or remain inactive for an extended period.

By subscribing to the VCP Scanner newsletter, you consent to receiving periodic emails including stock ideas, market observations, and platform updates. All newsletter content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice (see Section 3).

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at [email protected]. We will process unsubscribe requests promptly.

All Platform content including but not limited to website design, source code, quantitative models, screening strategies, valuation methodologies, written analysis, and editorial content is the intellectual property of VCP Scanner (Anish Das). All rights reserved.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works based on any Platform content without our explicit prior written permission.

Permitted use: You may reference or cite Platform data or analysis for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes with proper attribution and a link back to the original page on vcpscanner.com.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; (b) any data, result, or estimate on the Platform is accurate, complete, or timely; (c) defects will be corrected; or (d) the Platform or its servers are free of viruses or harmful components.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VCP SCANNER, ITS OPERATOR (ANISH DAS), AND ANY CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Financial losses from investment decisions made using Platform content
• Data errors, delays, or inaccuracies
• Lost profits, revenue, or business opportunity
• Platform downtime, data loss, or service interruption
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $50 OR THE TOTAL FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH, FOR THE FREE PLATFORM, IS ZERO).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VCP Scanner and its operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (c) your infringement of any third-party right; or (d) any investment decision you make based on Platform content.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal resolution first: Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve your concern within 30 days.

Class action waiver: To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against VCP Scanner.

If informal resolution fails, any dispute that cannot be resolved shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify newsletter subscribers by email. Continued use of the Platform after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, your only recourse is to discontinue using the Platform.
