The dividend is payable Oct. 16, 2026, to holders of record at the close of business Oct. 2, 2026. Sylvamo is facing temporary headwinds from European weakness, lost capacity, operational issues, and elevated capex, pushing earnings and FCF near cyclical lows. North American supply cuts and tariffs could strengthen pricing, while Eastover's upgrade and operational improvements should support higher margins and EBITDA. A cyclical recovery in Europe and Latin America, combined with normalized capex, could eventually restore SLVM to more than $300 million of annual FCF.
Sylvamo NYSE: SLVM reported second-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $60 million, more than double the $29 million recorded in the first quarter, as the company implemented uncoated freesheet paper price increases across its regions. Adjusted operating earnings were $0.03 per share, while free cash flow was negative $23 million, an improvement of $36 million sequentially.
